About the CEO/Owner:

I've been a hustler from day one, since 13 years old I loved doing hair and making people feel beautiful. It all started at my dance shows when I used to do everyone's buns and baby hair. That's all I knew back then. I knew hair was my passion and money was what I wanted but I didn't know how good I was so I settled for buns and baby hair at the dance recitals.  Honestly mom taught me to get it on my own so I wouldn't have to depend on anyone else. It started in 8th grade, I was making head bands, studding shirts and chucks to make a few extra dollars.  It was the norm to go to school everyday, get good grades study, and save my money! By 10th grade, I was staying up late baking cupcakes and cookies every night to sell at school the following day.  By 11th grade I asked my mom for $300 so i could invest in selling hair extensions. It took me months before I started but I made it happen. Mom told me she named me Diamond for a reason, cause I was precious, I'd always shine & my value would always be remarkable! Mom and Dad decided after high school that I should attend college (I had other plans). Although I attended Delaware State University for one semester, I left & that's when my real journey began. I noticed my passion for hair again around this time because I was doing it for the lowest prices just to get something out of it,  sometimes even free.  March 30, 2015 I  started cosmetology school.  I already started saving money because I knew what my goals were and I knew how to achieve them.  I had my dad fix up his   basement, asked my mom to order me a salon chair and that's when my grind began, business cards, social media, shirts and photo shoots to build my brand DIAMONDKREATIONS. In a little under a year I Successfully obtained my cosmetology license. By 2016,  at 19 years of age, i became the proud owner of official Dk hair studio! NOW AGE 26 with so much experience!
